Below are the instructions to download and install the Brief Accounting Archive application. This is used to open any Archived data files containing General Ledger detail from closed periods.
The installer will run on OS X 10.14 through OS X 11.
Click HERE to download the Brief Accounting Archive application.
Once downloaded, browse to your downloads folder and double-click the "bart1052archive.pkg" file:
Follow the prompts to install. Your OS X password is required to run the installer.
When installing, a prompt may appear asking for access to the Documents folder:
Click OK.
To open the application:
Open Finder, browse to the Applications > Brief Accounting Archive folder.
Within that folder, double-click on the "Brief Accounting Archive" application to open:
Once opened, you may be prompted to open a data file.
Click HERE for information on opening and selecting a Brief Accounting data file.
