As part of your Brief Accounting Subscription, Brief Legal Software will assist your firm with production of the necessary files for your annual electronic Trust Safety filing with the Law Society.
Please take the following steps when you are ready to make your submission.
1- Finalize your year-end with your accountant. Confirm all postings for the period are complete.
2- Contact Brief Legal Software to schedule file generation.
Brief Legal Software will schedule a date and time to establish a remote connection to your Brief Accounting installation.
Brief Legal Software will generate the necessary files for submission and send them back to you.
Uploading the files to the Law Society
All law firms must use the new (PwC) Connect Tool to upload the data to the Law Society. An
email will be sent to all Responsible Lawyers with instructions to login and use the Connect Tool.
